Topaz' experiences, if they are genuine, seem to be the only practicable way of having sexual relationships with close family. People and other advanced primates like chimpanzees are programmed against incest; it seems that those we grow up with between the ages of 6 and puberty we instinctively avoid sexually after puberty. Research was done into children growing up together in Israeli kibbutzes; although unrelated and free to marry, none of the children who lived together during that age married or even had a sexual relationship. Yet several of them 'explored' each other during childhood. I presume the adults of the community nevertheless frowned upon such 'precocious' behaviour which is why no further sexual development occurred between the children. I guess if you are introduced to your sexuality from the beginning then natural inhibitions don't have occasion to develop.
